i regularly go out at Bottoms Up two to three times a month and really enjoy the atmosphere and the consistent live entertainment offered on the weekends. it is a convenient location for myself and friends to meet up and offers a classier bar atmosphere than what is currently offered in most of OFallon. While I have noticed some struggle with the quality of service and consistency of food product, the quality and value of drinks has always been consistent and as a person who truly enjoys trying to new styles of beers, i have always appreciated their selection. I will note that I have a noticed a significant improvement in quality of food over the last few months and service has become more consistent with a change of management. The staff has always made me feel welcome but I must say my review is biased as I have become good friends with quite a few of them. If you're looking for a place to grab some drinks with friends, enjoy some live music that won't blow your eardrums and have a good burger this is a great place. I wouldn't recommend it for small kids or formal dinners as it tends to cater more toward a bar atmosphere.

Food was average but gave large portions. The drinks were a great price. The waitresses only addressed the men 75% of the time and the women 25% of the time. We had 8 in our group so it was a larger group but by no means obnoxious and received several eye rolls and surly looks as she walked away from the table. For example, the bottled beer was not cold, it was cool not cold. When my friend (female) asked for a "frosty mug" she walked away rolling her eyes and we had to ask 2 more times and received a cool glass. There was only one other table of three in the place so she wasn't too overwhelmed. I would have gone back again if it weren't for her negative attitude. :(

Went to a Christmas party and everything was bad. From the service to the arrogant manager & owners. They treat paying customers like absolute garbage, period. Took ALL waitresses about 20 minutes each to pour a draft beer, then they forget to bring it to your table. The manager had difficulty overseeing his employees and how poorly the place was doing and failed to correct anythign after numerous complaints. Food = bad. Service = Dreadful. Management/Employees/Owner = Among the worst attitudes ive ever seen. Employees were out front smoking before i ever went inside. The only thing that was good was the band that was playing, and i have no idea why they would play at this bar when it is so unprofessionally organized. I'll give it about 10 months before it goes under.
