I am a huge sandwich eater. So much so in fact that they probably are included in at least 60 to 70 percent of the meals that I eat. Most of the time I like to have a little something special on my sandwiches. Perhaps a special aoli or a unique ingredient. This is not the case at Carl's. I used to live right down the street from Carl's, and would often go in just for a pastrami and mustard sandwich. It may be simple, but the pastrami is juicy and flavorful and really only needs a little mustard and rye bread to get the job done. They do have specialty sandwiches that look good, but I always go with the old standby.
